Boston Beyond is leading a citywide effort to recapture these precious out-of-school hours. Our partners fill untapped hours with enriching, skill building programs that prepare young people for the future of opportunity in their communities and nation as well!
Boston Youth Sanctuary, or BYS for short is a therapeutic after-school program that helps children ages 6 -11 who have experienced traumatic events or circumstances in their lives. BYS offers clinical services designed to improve functioning at home, school and community settings through case management on site with clients receiving wrap around care from one location.
Boston's Bridge to Excellence is a nonprofit organization that provides intervention services for at-risk youth in order to help them reach their academic potential, develop skills necessary of civil engagement and personal growth. The mission statement: To provide one on one mentorship so every child can achieve success regardless if they live with poverty or not !!!
Since 1974, we have been providing Bowen children not only with unique educational opportunities through play but also the opportunity to form lasting friendships. In fact many BASCP graduates year in and out tell us how their time at our program has allowed them make friends for life!
