The Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) was founded in 1971 when a man named Bob Meehan built up his own friendship with Father Charlie Wyatt-Brown. He realized the need for an effective substance abuse recovery program which could help young people who were lost on drugs and bring them out of this lifestyle into one without alcohol or other harmful substances involved at all, so he developed it himself!
