Edward R. (Dick) Rathgeber, the founder of Southwest Destructors started in the demolition business back in 1958 as a sideline to moving houses. Since then he has demolished over 100 homes and businesses each year - from mansions on Park Ave., to strip centers down by Broad Street; his company is one of the largest and most respected demolition contractors today.
