C2BE works to strengthen businesses and communities through education, technical assistance projects like the Business Incubator at Detroit's unemployment office (a program designed specifically for StartUp City!), as well their collaboration efforts within this network. By building inclusive new economy in Detroits based on worker-owned business they hope it will be more resilient during difficult times because these companies are invested not just financially but emotionally too!
