606 Health Chicago is a medical facility that has been around for more than 100 years. It was originally founded in 1913 as the Swedish-American Hospital and then, due to growing popularity of other hospitals, became known by its present name on January 1st 1994 when it merged with Central Illinois Community Memorial Physicians Hospitals (CIMP).
