Overview

Georgia is a state in the south eastern region of the United States. Georgia was one of the thirteen colonies that revolted against British rule in the American revolution by signing the 1776 declaration of independence. 

It is the 24th largest in the area and 8th most populous of fifty U.S. states. Atlanta is the capital and most populous city of Georgia. The capital Atlanta is one of the beautiful places in the state. Atlanta is called “Hollywood of the south” because film and television shows are  produced here largely. Besides, Atlanta is the U.S. ninth largest Metropolitan area. 

The majority of the state primarily have hot and humid summers, and cold to mild winters. Climate change is a major issue in Georgia, as the state is warming up. However, the weather is not that bad. It’s amazing.

Tourism industry is a leading contributor to the Georgia Economy and prosperity. Georgia Aquarium, world of Coca-Cola, Atlanta botanical garden, Rock city gardens, centennial Olympic park, Forsyth park, lookout mountain and zoo Atlanta are some of the amazing tourist destinations in the state.
