Arizona, the Grand Canyon state, is in the southwest corner of the Continental United States that attained statehood on February 14, 1912, and became the 48th States of the USA. Phoenix is the largest and capital city of Arizona. The state of Arizona is known as the grand canyon state and the copper state. The grand canyon is one of the marvellous natural wonders of the world in Arizona. Secondly, Arizona is the leading copper producer in the United States that’s why it is also known as the copper state. Shaped by the Colorado River throughout 3 to 6 million years, Arizona’s Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and one mile deep. Each year nearly 5 million people visit the spectacular Grand Canyon, National Park.
