Northwester University's Feinberg School of Medicine is a world-class institution. The Department of Radiology, founded by Drs. Henry and Lisa Proffitt in 1991, has been recognized as one the best departments not only within Northwestern but also nationally for its research efforts into various imaging modalities including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography scanning or xrays.
