New York County Psychiatric Society

The New York County Psychiatric Society, a branch of the American psychiatric association has been striving since its formation in 1955 as an organization that provides resources for those who have mental health issues. The founding members wanted it so much that they put themselves through college just to be part-time workers at public libraries on evenings and weekends!
