The Mae District is a well-known historical site in Bangkok, Thailand. It was originally used to house courtiers and administrative officials during the Ayuthya Kingdom from around BCE until 1927 when it became home for Noble class families who wanted their children taught etiquette skills before they were married off into nobility society
