Our Credit Union was founded in 1935 to serve the Long Beach School District and City College employees. We were originally called LBS Financial, but changed our name when we realized that it was not just a school district or college thing--we had an extensive community of members who needed affordable financial options they could trust.

I have been a member for years. I still have low Atm limits, they have been unable to perform simple banking transactions properly like sending wire transfers, forcing me to open accounts with other banks to perform these tasks, they turned me down for a loan more than once but I have outstanding credit and was given a solid yes by several other banks for the same request. The lines are generally long and slow at the branches and I think there are much better deals available from bigger banks.

This Lbs sucks they're rude the only have one or two tellers open with 15 plus customers in line I hate coming to this bank! Cerritos is 100 times better!

Terrible customer service. We attempted to open an account online and sent all the required documents and answered all the required questions with some impatient employee on the phone. They denied the application. Went into a branch to try to handle it in person. Long line, no place to sit, and was told
