Lawndale Forge

Lawndale Forge was founded in 1928 by Ralph Russell Sr., who had been blacksmithing for generations. It's no coincidence that the forge is located on what used to be a marshy and wooded area, which could easily catch fire. When Chicago experienced its own inferno, his family relocated here with their trade intact - forging metal into shackles from carbon steel or stainless steel materials.
