In 2006, Rob D., the GOSKATE founder cold called an ice skating directory owner and asked to purchase it for $500. Soon enough--GOSKATE became a collection of skate spots across America with no one coming in or out because they couldn't figure out how there site worked! Eventually though - after realizing what had caused their failures-they made up some ground when students from San Francisco started requesting lessons through them .
