The Fire Department of the City of New York Buildings Maintenance Division is a 24/7 operation that services and maintains buildings throughout Long Island City. They are responsible for everything from emergency response, fire safety compliance inspections smoke ventilation removal alarms sprinkler systems elevator repair all while protecting human life with their six engine companies equipped Fleet Service Unit (FSU).
