Bridgeport Transmission was founded in 1985 by two brothers who had a vision for an American company committed to putting high-quality auto parts on the market at prices that would make any budget stretch.The name "Bridge" comes from one of these founders' roots, because he said it's like building your own bridge between you and our customer; together we build this vehicle.
