Take Steps Be Heard! Take Steps Fundraising Walk for Crohn's & Colitis is CCFA's largest fundraising event. Participants raise funds and awareness throughout the year and come together to celebrate the steps that have been taken towards a cure. This is a 1-3 mile walk. Food, kids' area, music and festivities after the walk. Those donating or raising a minimum of $25 will be given a wristband to attend the festivities. There is no registration fee for the walk but a donation is anticipated as this is a fundraising walk. Those who register online or join an existing team raising $100 or more will receive a Take Steps Tshirt the day of the walk. More incentives the more money you raise.

You’re invited to the 25th annual Celebration of Life presented by the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma. Join Mary Ann Bauman, M.D., medical director, Women’s Health and Community Relations, INTEGRIS Health, for “Expressions of Survivorship,” as she highlights her experiences and life lessons learned as a physician and the stories of survivorship that have touched both her professional and personal life. Dr. Bauman is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and has given many presentations on women’s health, family health and careers in medicine. Dr. Bauman is featured daily on KWTV News 9, where she answers medical questions from the community. The presentation will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Magnuson Hotel and Convention Center (formerly the Clarion Meridian Convention Center), 737 S. Meridian Ave., Oklahoma City. Complimentary lunch, survivor recognition and butterfly release are included. Admission is free, but reservations are required.

We have also begun offering "emergency" individual classes for those needing training
with only a few days notice. I must charge 2.5 times the regular cost of certification
to accommodate these short-notice class needs. A pricing schedule is also available
for two or three individuals desiring a combined short-notice class.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Besides, haven't you ever wanted a good excuse to shave your head? What better reason than this one?

The clinic is open during the lunch hour and appointments are not required for general immunizations. Immunizations are available to children and adults. OCCHD asks that you bring immunization records with you. The parent or legal guardian must be present with a child. Any person other than the parent must have legal proof of guardianship or a permission letter from the parent stating that the child can have the necessary shots on the date of the clinic.

Our 2 week package is designed to help teach kids vital skills including self-regulation , self efficacy and self esteem in children and young adults.

This is free and open to all ages. adding more belly laughs will make you feel more energetic and healthy. Stress and pain can disappear. Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine. It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing which brings in more oxygen to the body and brain. Anyone can laugh without relying on humor, jokes and comedy. We use laughter as an exercise in a group, encouraging eye contact and childlike playfulness making our laughing real and contagious. It is based on the scientific fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter.
