My wife, kids and I went to visit this animal park a couple of weeks ago because we thought it would be cool.  We were so wrong.  It is the most unprofessional and unorganized public venue we have ever been to.  We were quoted a price on the phone that morning which almost doubled when we got there.  Then while waiting forever we were subjected to the director yelling and swearing at the girls who work there.  It was terrible; I felt very sorry for them.  After we left I made sure to tell my children that is not the way a nice person acts.  We will never go back.  The Oklahoma City Zoo is much nicer anyhow.

My mother treated myself, my sister, and my daughter to an evening Safari at Tiger Safari on the evening of Saturday, March 26th. She was promised that this rather expensive Safari would include a jeep ride, private tour, photos with many of the Safari's animals not seen by the public, photos for us to enjoy after the safari, and a private tour of the Safari after dark. We arrived for our Safari only to be left waiting outside for around 30 minutes. We were finally ushered inside only to wait yet again due to a birthday party running over. The employees were nervous and kept telling us that Bill was "freaking out" and that things were crazy. We finally were given instructions on the rules of the tour and were kept waiting again. This time we WERE given snacks though. That was nice. We were told to leave our e-mails up front so that we could receive info on the photos that were about to be taken. We were, several times, snapped at by Bill (along with the other employees) for not posing right or taking too long to "get the picture" right. NOne of the animals were animals that weren't visible normally during business hours. Not what my mother was promised. Bill and staff were also very preoccupied with yet another birthday party that was happening at the same time. Again, not waht we were promised. We were to have the park to ourselves. Finally, our "private" tour began-and more employee chatter about Bill's "freaking out" happened. I asked the girl who gave us the tour to tell us more about the animals we were seeing and was told "I don't really know much about the animals here". Nice! We were rushed along and I was told at one point to quit looking at one of the tigers and hurry. Our guide said she was afraid that Bill would get mad. Several people on our tour were snapped at for doing things wrong...like touching a broken fence in front of a bear exhibit. Why was that even there? Why was there not a sign warning us of this? Our tour was running about an hour over at this point and my mom had made dinner reservations at a specific time based on her conversation with Bill. We told our guide that we were running late and needed to leave...and she was visibly upset that we were disrupting the group by leaving. We never received a jeep tour and we never received our pictures. I left messages on the following dates with no return call: 3/29, 4/1, and 4/7. I also left several e-mails including one on April 26th that stated we would be contacting the BBB if I did not receive a call back. I know that "local" business is their bread and butter but is this the way to treat tourists? I have filed a complaint with the BBB and was told that they have it on record that the Tiger Safari will not respond to BBB complaints. I made one last atempt to contact Tiger Safari to let them know I would be posting something on Trip Advisor and other sites if I did not hear back from them in 24 hours. No surprise....no return call. I would hate for someone else to go through an unpleasant experience.

Spent all morning at the park it was amazing, would highly recommend for anyone with small children. Personal treatment, well-kept - happy animals. Even a tortoise ride at the end. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
