That tremor you feel is not another earthquake rumbling through northeast Oklahoma. It’s the tingly feeling in your leg that comes from anticipation of yet another Tulsa Gridiron! This year’s calamitous show, “Mock-u-py Tulsa, or Shakes on the Plains,” rattles the PAC’s Liddy Doenges Theater for two performances, March 23 and 24, at 8 p.m. Under the direction of Rebecca Ungerman, the cast pokes musical fun at all the usual suspects, from City Hall to the White House, with all sorts of detours in between, just as the Tulsa Gridiron has been doing for nearly eight decades. The Tulsa Gridiron is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the preservation of political and social commentary through humor and satire. Proceeds benefit local college and university students active in politics, journalism and communications. Visit the Gridiron website at www.tulsagridiron.org for information, or call Gridiron Chairman Randy Krehbiel at 918-520-0934.
