Eskimo Joe's opening in July 21, 1975 is known as "Stillwater's Jumpin' Little Juke Joint" They offer a menu of Joe's Specials like burgers, chicken sandwiches, Cheese Fries, and an open-air beer garden.

It's great to come see as a tourist, but not really someplace that I eat every day as a Stillwater local. The atmosphere is fun, and they offer great nightly specials and live music. The food is just so-so. Burgers, cheese fries and beer are the staples of the menu. There is a big server turn-over at Joes, so one day the service is great and the next it stinks. If you get the chance, come during an off-time, otherwise there can be a lengthy wait. They do have the Joe's Clothes shop that you can browse while you are waiting, though. Clever marketing!

There is a high turnover on servers, so it's not very dependable. They do have good drink specials and hold fun events from time to time. It's a great place to go once or twice for the atmosphere, but not a place to eat on a regular basis.

I think a '5' rating is mandatory for Joe's! It's an Oklahoma... Read full review I think a '5' rating is mandatory for Joe's! It's an Oklahoma tradition. I've been several times and really enjoy the atmosphere. The food really isn't anything special, but it's not too bad - I would say it was even pretty tasty!
