The Cherokee Strip Museum covers the transformation of the virgin prairie grassland of the Cherokee Outlet to farms, ranches and agricultural centers. During the school year, the museum presents the award-winning program, “A Day at Rose Hill School”. This program allows fourth-grade students from across the state to spend a day in class in a one-room schoolhouse in 1910.
The museum is located just off I-35 in Perry.
