Sri Lankan pianist Dinuk Wijeratne, Syrian clarinetist Kinan Azmeh and Indian Tabla virtuoso Mayookh Bhaumik mix Middle Eastern modes, Indian rhythms, and contemporary Western influences into a seamlessly integrated, genre defying whole. With sophisticated understandings of world, jazz, contemporary and classical music they transcend traditional boundaries around musical styles to create a haunting, exhilarating and rich sonic experience.
