Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre (CityRep) presents THE SANTALAND DIARIES by David Sedaris, adapted by Joe Mantello. Mantello’s adaptation of snap-witted American essayist David Sedaris’ THE SANTALAND DIARIES is a true and humorous account of Sedaris’ sting working as “Crumpet the Elf” in Macy’s department store during the busy holiday season. This one-man show recounts, in inglorious detail, Sedaris’ uproarious misgivings and misadventures as only he can tell them.

Starring in the CityRep production is Shawn Churchman.

CityRep Artistic Associate Michael Jones will direct the production. Set Design is by Josh Cain, Lighting Design is by John Fowler, Costume Design by Jeffrey Meek, Sound Design by Will Burns, and Properties Design by Josh Cain.

THE SANTALAND DIARIES will play in the CitySpace Theatre at the Civic Center Music Hall at 201 N. Walker in downtown Oklahoma City. Previews begin on Friday, December 18 at 8:00 pm, with a matinee preview on Saturday, December 19 at 4:00 pm. The Opening Night is Saturday, December 19 at 8:00 pm and the production runs for five performances through Sunday, December 20, closing with a 7pm performance on that day.
