In this camp, students will learn the process and art of stop-motion animation. This is a very time consuming art form that will be broken down into an easy and fun way of creating short stop-motion videos. Students will use digital and video cameras to manipulate objects that move in a video. They will also learn how to edit what they shoot with Mac and PC computers to create a stop-motion video that uses titles, transitions, and music. A screening of student video projects tops off the camp on Friday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. in the Noble Theater.
$120 members/ $130 nonmembers per child (materials provided; bring a non-perishable sack lunch, drink, and two snacks each day)
Before and after care is available from 8–9 a.m. and from 4–5 p.m. at a charge of $5 per child, per day (no after care on Friday).
Maximum enrollment is 12 students. Children must meet the minimum age requirements for each class to participate.
