My mother was suckered into paying over $15,000 for a funeral that would have cost her $8,000 or less anywhere else in town. Although my parents had already bought plots and a headstone - already paid for - she was made to pay additional costs for said plots and headstone. When My father's complimentary (from the government) military plaque arrived, Resthaven tried to charge us another $750 to put it by his grave. This was supposed to be paid for. After yelling at them about how much they screwed us and how they had better install the plaque without the $750, they did set it - and it was crooked. They were careless and spiteful and I've had enough. Additionally, the brand new flowers and American flags my mother put down on Memorial Day had been removed 2 weeks later - and this did not happen to other graves. I would sooner disinter my father and move him to another cemetery so that my mother doesn't have to be in that place long before I would give them any more of my family's money.
