First off, this place is intimidating. Long lines, yuppies and a two walls of beer (and I mean WALLS).  But if you go on an off night, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. They sport a massive beer selection, pleny of flat-screen TV's and a very reasonably priced menu. Even their pint glasses are cool!  The food was delicious, service was friendly and my checkbook was not as light as it could have been for the same amazingness elsewhere! Do yourself and favor and check the RePUBlic out!

Everyone kept saying this place had a Chicago feel, but I wasn't...  Read full review Everyone kept saying this place had a Chicago feel, but I wasn't overly impressed. It felt mostly like any new bar (I was actually pretty reminded of McNellie's). The food I had was just okay, but since everyone else seems to love it, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Our waiter even begged us not to order dessert, though, as he said it was atrocious.

If you are having trouble deciding on a drink ask you bartender, if you are having trouble deciding what to eat, order everything (its all good)

This place is trendy, upscale & always busy.About any kind of beer you would ever want to try & great appetizers! The wait staff isnt very friendly but that is probably because they are so busy all the time, but it wont stop me from going back!

This would be a great place to go on game days, there are multiple big screen tv's throughout the restaurant. I would recommend getting a reservation or arriving early, it can get pretty busy!

However, don't go expecting a "pub" atmosphere that you can comfortably hangout in ... it's a bit, for a lack of a better word, sterile and they'll rush you out the door at busy hours (which are fairly constant during it's current infancy phase). Not a bad spot overall.

We were lucky enough to get one but I did overhear the hostess tell a party of 2 that they would have a 2 hour wait. Secondly, this place rocks! Talk about an amazing beer selection and the food is delicious. We had the Scotch Egg & home-made pub pretzel for appetizers. Both were delicious. I then enjoyed the Classen burger for my entrĂ©e. YUM! Great place to watch a game and get a drink. Highly recommended!
