Abortion Access:

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma works to prevent unintended pregnancies and reduce the need for abortion. Decisions about child bearing should be made by a woman, in consultation with her family, her doctor, and her conscience, not the government or politicians.

Family Planning:

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma gives women, men and families information and counseling to make reproductive choices. Family planning enables responsible decision-making and creates health families.

Emergency Contraception:

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma believes emergency is the best way to prevent unintended pregnancy in cases of rape, incest, or contraceptive failure. All women should have access to emergency contraception.

Contraceptive Equity:

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma believes contraceptive equity provides women with critical access to birth control they might not otherwise be able to afford. Contraception prevents unintended pregnancies and reduces the need for abortion.

Sex Education:

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma believes sex education programs should teach medically-accurate, age-appropriate information. Only medically-accurate sex education allows for responsible decision-making and disease prevention.
