Remember the beautiful, multicolored, patterned papers you often see inside the covers of old books? You can learn to make them yourself in this one-day workshop! Discover many of the traditional patterns, such as the Peacock, Stone Marble, Spanish Wave, Feather, Nonpareil, French Curl, and more, along with proper use of the necessary marbling ingredients. Following a full demonstration, you’ll work to create 10 to 15 marbled sheets to take home with you. Marbling on fabric will also be discussed and practiced. This is a very popular and easy method—no artistic talent or ability is necessary!
Ability level: All levels
