As other reviewers have stated, Nic's Grill is tiny. I would say there are probably only 18 or so seats inside and you'll likely have to wait outside for a seat. But, it’s worth the wait. When a friend and I went we only had about a 10 minute wait at lunchtime, which I hear is a rarity. Once inside, we stood right inside the door and were greeted with friendly faces all around. There are only 2 employees working but they are observant and really treat their customers well. Now, let me talk about the food....it was delicious! I would suggest splitting an order if you're not super hungry because the portions are enormous. The fries were delicious and the burger was amazing. Yes, tons of grease...but one of those burgers that won't soon be forgotten. The menu is affordable - for two people it was just under $16.

Also, there's a very good chance you'll smell like Nic's Grill the rest of the day...so be prepared :) Stop by Nic's grill. You won't regret it!

Nic's grill has by far the best and biggest burger in town. I would not wait on any other burger, standing outside on Penn, except for this one. And it is well worth any wait, to sit in the 20 or so seats in the small grill. The burger is gigantic and you don't think you could ever finish it, but it is so good that you can't stop eating. I recommend that everyone tries it at least once, and they do allow you to carry out if thats more convenient. Also, don't leave off the onions, they make it fantastic. When you're eating at Nic's you feel like you're at a friends house, that just so happens to be a fantastic cook. Nic and his one other employee work behind a bar in very close quarters. You see everything being cooked and smell it too! The guys are very friendly and funny, and you just feel very welcome to be there. It's kind of weird, because you have an unspoken bond with the other customers, because you all waited outside and now are enjoying the best burger in town.
