United Filmmakers of Oklahoma (UFO) will host an Independent Filmmakers Showcase on February 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The showcase will take place at Istvan Art Gallery, located at 1218 North Western in Oklahoma City.

UFO will be screening an eclectic mix of cross genre short films and music videos. The event will feature UFO-produced short films, as well as other works by UFO’s talented members.

The cost for admission is $5 and includes refreshments. All ages are welcome to attend, but please be advised that some works contain adult content.

UFO is an ever-expanding group of directors, writers, actors, artists, producers, crew and volunteers in the Oklahoma City and surrounding areas that come together for the sole purpose of creating independent films.

UFO was formed in April 2011 but has grown exponentially due to public interest and a prominent presence at events, including the Plaza Arts District’s Live on the Plaza and the deadCENTER Film Festival in Oklahoma City. UFO consists of working filmmakers in Oklahoma and has plans for a variety of diverse film projects. Interested persons of all skill levels are invited to join UFO.
