Edna's
In brief, you should know the following about Edna's: We are definitely considered to be one of the best neighborhood bars in Oklahoma City. Smoking is allowed but those of you under 21 are not. Edna's club & restaurant is opened year round for your drinking & dining pleasure. Edna has been in business for herself since 1980 and has been responsible for providing outstanding service and entertainment ever since. This includes Edna dancing on the bar if you play Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls Of Fire" on the juke box. Our regular customers particularly value our friendly neighborhood feel. Among other things Edna's is very well known for our "Lunchboxes". We have a full food menu, beer, wine, spirits, pool, darts, the best juke box in Oklahoma City and most importantly, Edna. Good times and good friends abound. This place is called Edna's Restaurant and Club but no one goes there for the food. In fact, don't even waste your time on the cheese fries or nachos. Go across the street to McDonald's or the Drunken Fry if you're hungry. But if you're thirsty, be sure to try the "Lunchbox." It's some crazy concoction that I think has beer, orange juice and Dr. Pepper. Or something like that. It's served ice-cold and you're supposed to drink it like a shot even though it's an almost full mug. Edna's is kind of a dark little dive but it's not a rough crowd. There's a jukebox, a patio for the days of nice weather and it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. Don't drink and drive, though. It's located at a place we call the Classen C.F. because the road can be confusing your first time. Also, there's an iHop nearby in case you're hungry when you leave.
