One of the hippest places to eat, Earl’s is chic, trendy and nostalgic with hubcaps and Elvis memorabilia on the walls. Earlywine “Earl” Jackson was born in Eastern Oklahoma in 1909. In his lifetime, he prepared his world famous barbecue for heads of state, movie stars and commonfolk alike. When Earl died he had been traveling with the King as his personal chef and companion and took great pride in the fact that the King gained more than 50 pounds during that time. After his death in 1978, recipes and secrets were sought after by chefs and collectors from all over the world but his family locked them away until they were finally passed on. Now Earl, like the King himself, is still alive through his awesome barbecue that is served at Earl’s.

The owners are Oklahoma grown, the business is community-oriented, and it’s smoking some tasty meats for patrons to eat....
