Composition is one of the key principles of quality photographs. In this class, participants will use their digital cameras and experiment with ways to improve the overall appearance of their images. We’ll begin by discussing digital cameras and the formal and aesthetic qualities of our images. Next, we’ll practice taking pictures throughout the Museum and return to the classroom for a review of the creative and technical issues related to producing quality digital photographs. Please bring your digital camera, owner’s manual, A/V cables, charged batteries, and, if available, a lightweight tripod. An additional offering of this class will occur on Sunday, December 6, 1-4 pm.
Ability level: Novice/Beginner
