SPECIAL APPEARANCE SUNDAY BY FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA, LIVE VIA SKYPE FROM PARIS!
Francis Ford Coppola’s latest film Tetro is his first original screenplay since his 1974 film The Conversation. Join us for this revival of one his best films of the 1970s, the Oklahoma City premiere of Tetro, and a live chat with Mr. Coppola via Skype after the final screening on Sunday.

The Conversation
Thursday, November 12, 7:30pm; Friday & Saturday, November 13 - 14, 5:30pm
Sound surveillance expert Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) is hired to track a young couple, taping their conversation as they walk through San Francisco's crowded Union Square. Knowing full well how technology can invade privacy, Harry obsessively keeps to himself, separating business from his personal life. Harry's work starts to trouble him, however, as he comes to believe that the conversation he pieced together reveals a plot by the mysterious corporate "Director" who hired him to murder the couple. After he allows himself to be seduced by a call girl, who then steals the tapes, Harry is all the more convinced that a killing will occur, and he can no longer separate his job from his conscience. Tetro
Friday & Saturday, November 13 - 14, 8pm; Sunday, November 15, 2pm
This semi-autobiographical story focuses on an artistically gifted family fractured by an overbearing father and several relocations. Recalling fond memories of his exiled older brother “Tetro,” the ingenuous 17-year-old Bennie (Alden Ehrenreich) leaves New York in search of his sibling, but Tetro (Vincent Gallo) refuses. After being turned away by his brother, Bennie seeks refuge with Tetro’s girlfriend Miranda (Maribel Verdú) in Buenos Aires’ eclectic La Boca neighborhood and discovers unfinished writing projects in her house that explain the reasons for Tetro’s distance. Bennie decides to pen the conclusion to one of the unfinished plays despite warnings from Miranda. Facing violent resistance from his brother, he submits the play to the famed critic “Alone” (Carmen Maura), who selects it as a finalist for the most important literary prize in the country. Director: Francis Ford Coppola 2009 USA/Italy/Spain/Argentina 127min. R HDdigital
