Painting should never be a mystery! Taught with a classical approach, this course will help students to know what the Masters understood—no formulas existed then, and none exist now. Individual attention will help students learn to apply paint correctly and to trust what they see. Developing a concept for each study, students then build or construct the images that become their finished painting. Life studies with still life set ups will comprise the early work; and later, if the individual wishes, a photo or favorite painting can serve as the subject.

Ability level: All levels
$90 members/ $110 nonmembers (limited supply list)
Maximum enrollment is 12 students.
