This building has been making BBQ since at least the '50s. When I was a kid in the '70s, it was Lindy's BBQ, a real hole-in-the-wall place, and my dad would tell me about Strick's being there in the '50s. Now Van's is in there, with a roomier dining establishment but still oozing with atmosphere. The twice-baked potatoes cost extra but are fantastic. All the BBQ is great.
