The Former Texas Playboys
In the 1930s, songwriter, musician and bandleader Bob Wills popularized a new genre of music that earned him the nickname, “the King of Western swing.” Today, he is survived by the Former Texas Playboys, original band members who continue his legacy with an all-star evening performance of Western Swing. Tickets are $20. Call Sooner Theater at (405) 321-9600 or visit www.soonertheatre.com for more information.
