Lecture – Walt Disney, Artist and Innovator
Dr. Richard Benefield opened the Walt Disney Family Museum as its founding executive director on October 1, 2009, in San Francisco. With nearly 40,000 square feet of state-of-the-art exhibitions, the museum tells the life story of the man who have the world Mickey Mouse. Previously, Benefield served for 10 years as the deputy director of the Harvard University Art Museums. Benefield will discuss Walt Disney's innovations in the art of animation.
