Robert Rauschenberg spoke of his work’s unexpected combination of found objects by saying, “if it wasn’t a surprise at first, by the time I got through with it, it was. So the object itself was changed by its context and therefore it became a new thing.” Get acquainted with the museum’s permanent collection during these free 45-minute talks featuring works including in temporary exhibitions.
