MEMORIAL DAY - $1 Pricing, Final Day of Season

The summer start-up holiday is also final racing day for the 2012 American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season at Remington Park. Bring the entire family for the exciting and fun afternoon at the races, and in the casino, on Memorial Day Monday, May 28.

The Plaza will be humming throughout the afternoon with live music from Shock and family fun activities throughout the day that starts with live racing at 1:30pm.

The holiday is affordable as well with special $1 pricing for Remington Park live acing programs, soft drinks, hot dogs and beer! All are just $1 on the Plaza throughout live racing!

The casino floor will be full of winning as well with special Memorial Day Hot Seats from 1-8pm. The Hot Seats will be worth $500! Just play with your Club Remington card to be eligible. See Club Remington for complete details.

2012 OK River Run and Dog Jog (7.1 miles)

Takes place at Wiley Post Park

8 am - 5K Sanctioned Run (River Run) USATF Certified and sanctioned (no dogs allowed) 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards given in 5 year age categories. Grand Prize given to overall male and female.
9 am - 3K Dog Jog For runners or walkers with or without dogs. All dogs must be leashed and have current rabies vaccinations. Children 12 and under with a registered adult may participate free in the Dog Jog. Registration Fee includes T-shirt and doggie bandanas while supplies last.
Awards given for Best Costume, Celebrity Look Alike, Most Fashionable, Most Obedient, Best Trick, Owner-Dog Look Alike, and more!

12th Annual Mark Harmon Celebrity Weekend Baseball Game (8.7 miles)

Takes place at University of Central Oklahoma

Mark Harmon and his Bombers will take on the OSSO Outlaws for a 5-inning charity baseball game for the ages.

Proceeds benefit Oklahoma City Indian Clinic and Anna's House Foundation.

17th Annual 4 Player Golf Scramble Tournament (11.4 miles)

Takes place at John Conrad Regional Golf Course

The Redbud Chapter of the American Business Women's Association would like to invite you to play in our annual Golf Tournament. The event is open to men, women, and co-ed teams. Registration is $200/team, and due by May 28th.

Prizes will be awarded to top 3 teams, as well as longest drive and hole-in-one. Door prizes will also be available. Every player will receive a goodie bag.

Big All-City Boys and Girls Basketball Games (8.9 miles)

Takes place at Del City High School

Del City High School will be the site for the Big All-City boys and girls basketball games, set for Thursday, May 31.

The Big All-City girls game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. and include a 3-point contest at halftime. The boys game will begin at approximately 8 p.m. and will have a slam dunk contest.

Downtown Dash (4.8 miles)

Takes place at St Anthony Hospital

Night time is the right time to visit downtown Oklahoma City and take part in the 4th annual Downtown Dash. These unique evening 10K and 5K races take place on June 2 and offer a race unlike most. It's the city's only night race that leads you through the heart of the city with spectacular up-close views of the downtown skyline. The Downtown Dash is presented by St. Anthony Hospital, where the races will start and finish. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and the races begin at 8 p.m.

This family-friendly event will provide fun for both runners and non-runners alike. Attendees will enjoy an informative health expo, inflatable toys, kid activities, a live DJ and more.

Online registration for the Downtown Dash is now open. The first 1,000 entries receives a Dri-Fit version of the race shirt and will be automatically entered into a drawing for a 1-year membership to the Park Harvey Athletic Club, so register today! Register online until Wednesday, May 30 at 5 p.m. After June 1, register on race day starting at 6 p.m.

The Oklahoma City Barons will take on the Toronto Marlies in the Western Conference Finals. The best-of-7 Western Conference Final series will start in Oklahoma City on Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

The Western Conference Finals are a best-of-7 series played in a 2-3-2 format.

Little anglers love the annual "Hooked on Fishing" free summer fishing clinics. Instructors teach anglers age 5-15 how to tie knots, cast lines, identify fish and much more. Parents are asked to accompany children under 13.

Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball 5K Run (5.9 miles)

Takes place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

Join us as we celebrate America's game together. Wear your team's colors and run with fans of Big 12 baseball. This event is sanctioned by USATF and the course has been certified as an accurate 5 km route.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners as well as the top three male and female in each age group. This event is open to people of all abilities. Walkers and beginners are welcome. There is no time limit.

Packet pick up will be at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Fanfest at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark from 2:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26.

Each runner will get a FREE TICKET to the Saturday morning session immediately following race.

Overall man and woman winner will win a YEAR’S WORTH OF FREE GAS from presenting sponsor Phillips 66.

Each age group winner in the men and women’s division will win gas cards!
