Water Garden Society of Oklahoma (WGSO) members open their private oasis to the pubic. Map your course around the metro and visit as many backyard ponds as you can June 16th and 17th. Enjoy the tranquility of waterscapes with the soothing sounds of waterfalls, the glorious blooms of water lilies, and the pleasure of swimming fish.

A spring garden tour of Edmond's 2011 “Yard of the Week” winners is scheduled for May 26 and 27.

The “Yard of the Week” program, co-sponsored by Edmond Beautiful, recognizes yards and gardens during the summer months for outstanding flowers and landscaping.

Maps to the homes will be available starting May 18 at the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce, 825 E Second St., and Edmond Public Library, 10 S Boulevard.

The tour is sponsored by Edmond Beautiful.
