It all started in 1973 when Andrew Cherng and his father, Ming-Tsai, opened the fine dining restaurant Panda Inn in Pasadena, California. Andrew had a vision of offering delicious signature Chinese entrees to a wider audience and in 1983 opened the first Panda Express in Glendale, California. Today, Panda Express has grown to over 1,300 restaurants nationwide and continues to be family owned by Andrew and Peggy Cherng.
Our chefs at Panda Express are famous for wokking up delicious, one-of-a-kind entrees such as our signature tangy Orange Chicken and zesty Beijing Beef. Guests also enjoy a large menu of other traditional Chinese dishes like spicy Kung Pao Chicken and savory Broccoli Beef.

This place is great! I always get the "Create Your Plate" and usually have chow mein noodles with it. My favorite meat options are the mandarin chicken, BBQ pork, broccoli beef or the orange chicken. The 2 entree plate (with 2 entree options and a side) is only $5.99 and there is a ton of food, enough to feed two people. It's a great deal and quite delicious. The drive-thru is typically very fast and they give you plenty of soy sauce and other condiments. Very good, quick food!
