Takes place at Shorty Smalls Great American Restaurant
The former Hungry Peddler, the last of legendary Val Gene Restaurant Group's eateries, goes up for auction Thursday.
Everything inside from the tables and wall decor to the kitchen equipment will be sold and the building at 4500 W Reno is set to be razed.
The location was leased and renamed Shorty Small's, which is the name on the building now.
Auction information:
• Location: The former Hungry Peddler, 4500 W Reno.
• When: Thursday; inspection begins at 9 a.m. and bidding starts at 10 a.m.

Takes place at Dreamer Concepts
Dreamer Concepts, an Art Space for Emerging Artists, will host the opening reception for Dreamer 41: Tour de Quartz on Friday, February 10th from 6 to 10pm. Dreamer 41 features a selection of artwork created by high school students during the 2011 Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute (OSAI) at Quartz Mountain. Dreamer has chosen two guest curators who attended OSAI in 2011; Bo Hubbard of Oklahoma City and Senior at Harding Charter Prep and Kaelea Crowell of Yukon and Senior who is home schooled. Bo Hubbard will oversee the drawing and painting selections and Kaelea Crowell will oversee photography.

The Moore Lindsay Historical House wants you to help make our World War II exhibit just swell by presenting your Curious minds and wondering eyes to our Spring Exhibit!.. There will be photos, artifacts, uniforms, and music that will take you back to 1943. There will be a framed 1945 Norman Transcript to be raffled, headline-“PEACE”. Come and enjoy history with us!
