Women Build 2012!! - Ladies, start your hammers!!
The 11th COHFH Women Build is quickly approaching! Scheduled this year from May 4 - June 2, Women Build brings together women throughout Oklahoma to work together on raising a quality, affordable home for a low income, deserving family. Already a number of women’s groups have signed up to participate in the build; Salvation Army Auxiliary, Oklahoma City Republican Women’s Club, OG&E Women, Word Aflame, and the Texas Roadhouse Waitresses, among others.
We would love to add you or your group to our volunteer list! We still need volunteers on May 4, 8, 10, 18, 23, & 25 - and would greatly appreciate your help! Please follow this link to Volunteer Up to sign up to work on an open day: http://volunteerup.com/ProjectCal.asp?o=174.
Please contact Rick Lorg if you would like to volunteer or Desiree Baber if you are interested in sponsoring a portion of the build. We are also still looking for lunch sponsors for several days of the build to feed our hungry, hard working volunteers.
