Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification -
Beginning March 13, 2012 The OU Lean Institute will be offering a public session of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification training beginning in March, 2012. Over the course of this training, students will learn to apply Lean and Six Sigma process improvement techniques to address real-world problems, following the DMAIC model (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control).
The OU Lean Institute emphasizes applied learning as a training methodology, and green belt students will complete a real-world process improvement project as a significant part of their training.
Twelve and a half (12.5) days of classroom training spread over four months, with additional coaching by the instructor.

March 13, 14, 15 - Define/Measure
April 3 (1 hour) - Coaching 1
April 17, 18, 19 - Analyze
May 8 (1 hour) - Coaching 2
May 15, 16, 17 - Improve
June 12 (1 hour) - Coaching 3
June 19, 20, 21 - Control
July 17 - Final Presentation

Upon successful completion of a project, the participant will become a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt per the OU Lean Institute.
