Join us for the opening reception May 4 from 6pm to 10pm. The exhibit will also feature works by other gallery artists and be on display through May 28, 2012. The gallery is open Thursday through Saturday from noon to 5 pm, Sunday from 1 to 4 pm, as well as Memorial Day weekend during the Paseo Arts Festival. The gallery is closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

In recent works, both featured artists explore strong contrasting relationships of color and shape. Smith builds her silhouetted horse forms against a backdrop of intriguing collage elements, teasing the eye from one area to another. Bewley’s striking compositions of bold shapes and vivid colors suggest figures in various settings.

Families, artists and onlookers will be picking up pieces of chalk to express their creativity at the first "Chalk the Walk" Festival on Saturday June 16, 2012 (Father's Day weekend) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oklahoma City's first chalk art event will offer fun activities and amateur art competitions, all in support of Parents Assistance Center, a local non-profit that has been working to strengthen families since 1976.
For only $15 (before May 16, and $20 after!), you can register as an artist and try your hand at creating a sidewalk masterpiece in chalk. Register up to 4 artists per sidewalk square.
For only $5 a family can participate in all the fun activities--live music, hands-on kids fun, and of course, watching the artists create sidewalk masterpieces! Fantastic food from local restaurants is also available!

When the 26th annual Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival opens at the Cox Convention Center downtown Oklahoma City, OK, more than 1200 American Indian artists and dancers from throughout North America will gather to celebrate the richness and diversity of their heritage with the world. For three exciting days Oklahoma City will be at the center of Native American art and culture in America as more than 30,000 people gather to celebrate.

Everyone has a story to tell. That's why the contemporary memoir has become such a popular phenomenon. In this workshop, you will learn how to focus your life stories, give them purpose and apply such craft elements as character, plot, dialogue and setting, especially pertaining to Oklahoma history. Whether you attend one or all twelve sessions, this workshop will show you how to best tell the stories of your life.

All wheel poker run event beginning at Pelican's and ending at Regional Park Rotary Pavillion 8500 E Reno, Midwest City, OK. Adult participants $25 for Driver, $15 for adult passengers and $10 juvenile participants. Funds benefit Emergency Service Providers fighting Cancer.

On canvases small and large, both artists build striking abstract compositions of dramatic shapes set off by distinctive lines and flamboyant color.

Generally open Wed & Thurs 1-7pm and Fri & Sat 1-6pm. Bohemian Spirit Vintage is Oklahoma City's premier vintage boutique specializes in vintage clothing and homewares c. 1900-1980, and retro & 20th Century Costuming. Bohemian Spirit takes you on a whimsical trip as you peruse Artist Amy Webster's collection of vintage wearables and wares. Shoppers may wish to pose in their selections for the website impromptu modeling. Our patio is now open for open air shopping or just relaxing with a Mexican coke. And Saturdays are always happening when Miss Amy cranks up the blues!

Ages six to adult will enjoy success in this two hour combination hand building and wheel throwing class. Every Saturday 10:00am-12:00pm. The class is $20 and includes the price of clay and firing fees.

Join our guest artists on Saturdays, 1-4 pm, as they help families to create extraordinary works of art inspired by the Museum’s collection, exhibitions, and special occasions throughout the year. No advance registration is required for you and your children to drop in and make and take a unique creation home with you! Free with paid Museum admission.
