Using his love for comics as inspiration, teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) decides to reinvent himself as a superhero -- despite a complete lack of special powers. Dave dons a costume, dubs himself "Kick-Ass," and gets to work fighting crime. He joins forces with the father/daughter vigilante team of Big Daddy and Hit Girl, then befriends another fledgling crime-fighter called Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), but a scheming mobster soon puts their alliance to the test.

I loved this over the top bloody mess of a movie. Not for kids and... Read full review I loved this over the top bloody mess of a movie. Not for kids and not for most adults, but still a ton of fun. Gets kinda slow in parts, but when it is rocking, it is really rocking.

This movie isn't quite what I expected. It's funny but also... Read full review This movie isn't quite what I expected. It's funny but also disturbing. The relationship between one superhero and his superhero daughter was very strange. Made me feel like he was raising a serial killer. You'll have to see it to know what I mean. I say 3 1/2 stars, but since I can't do half stars on here I'll say 4.
