The Oklahoma Aquarium is a public non-profit aquarium. Located in Jenks, Oklahoma, on the Arkansas River. The Oklahoma Aquarium brings an estimated half million visitors to the Tulsa area each year.
The mission of the Oklahoma Aquarium is "Conservation through Education."
The Oklahoma Aquarium provides educational, recreational, cultural and tourism opportunities for Oklahomans and out-of-state visitors. Through our partnerships with Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, the State Department of Education, private Foundations, individual and corporate sponsors, the Oklahoma Aquarium is a premiere marine and aquatic science facility dedicated to "Conservation through Education."
The Aquarium is home to a variety of marine and aquatic animals, as well as a very unique fishing tackle collection. Through your experiences with these exhibits, you will better understand how people fit into the aquatic equation. Over 200 exhibits are located in the Oklahoma Aquarium, and contain several thousand animals from around the world.
