New Holdenville Lake is impounded by Holdenville City Lake on a tributary of Little River in Hughes County, Oklahoma and is used for drinking water and recreation purposes. It has been been there since 1931. At normal levels it has a surface area of 550 acres. It is owned by the City Of Holdenville.
Holdenville City Lake, also known as New Holdenville Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 65 feet with a length of 2085 feet. Maximum discharge is 11000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 15600 acre feet. Normal storage is 11000 acre feet. It drains an area of 9.5 square miles.
