The Tulsa Indian Art Festival is a cultural celebration of the American Indian. The Tulsa Indian Art Festival will host approximately 75 nationally recognized painters, potters, bead workers and cultural designers who will gather at the Glenpool Conference Center to celebrate the 26th annual festival, which honors the spirit of the American Indian. This spirit manifests itself through the art, dance, music and storytelling of a culture that traditionally embraces the Earth and its many natural resources. Art demonstrations will be held at designated times for those desiring a more intense experience.

This year's featured artist is Debbie Edwards, a Cherokee Indian sculptor from Green Country. She has been carving wood since 1990 and transitioned to stone in 1998.
