The Oklahoma Division Magna Charta Dames and Barons will have its annual luncheon and meeting at noon June 2 at the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club, 3501 Quail Creek Road, Oklahoma City.

Irma Stewart will portray Alice Paul, who along with Lucy Burns and others led a successful campaign for women's suffrage that resulted in the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920.

A new workshop that will help youths ages 9 to 14 learn to make pizza, complete with homemade crust and sauce.

All supplies are provided and included in a $10 preregistration cost for the workshop. Students will eat their pizzas for lunch.

Zoobilation is the largest fundraising event for the Oklahoma City Zoo. This adults-only, outdoor evening features food and drinks from over 30 local restaurants and bars, live entertainment, and a terrific silent auction. Funds raised from Zoobilation 2012 will ensure that the Oklahoma City Zoo remains one of the nation’s leading authorities in zoological animal care. Tickets are $100.

The Culinary Institute of Platt College will host Platt My Plate from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at its north campus, 2727 W Memorial Road.

Guest Chef Lee Bennett, Iguana Grill, and a dozen kids will show how to cook a healthy meal together based on the united States Department of Agriculture's "My Plate" guidelines.

Benefiting World Neighbors- World Neighbors is an international development organization striving to eliminate hunger, poverty and disease in the poorest, most isolated rural villages in Asia, Africa and Latin America. World Neighbors does not give away food or material aid, but we take a big-picture, integrated approach focusing on the entire community rather than on one issue.

The Midwest City Farmers' Market will kick off its 2011 season Saturday, June 4. The market will be open from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays at Charles J. Johnson Park, SE 29 and Mid-America Blvd.

A grand-opening celebration will be held during the June 7 market.

The Museum Cafe at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art is open 11am to 3pm every Monday; Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-10pm & Sunday, 10:30am-3pm.
